Few annual events in eastern West Virginia are more hotly anticipated than the Tri-County Fair. As always, our real estate agents are excited to welcome the fair back to Petersburg, WV!
Just like in years past, there will be a lot to take in. The 2022 fair will include live music and entertainment, various animal shows and exhibitions, a parade, demolition derby, and a midway packed with rides, games, and carnival attractions. And it's all happening minutes away from these Hardy County homes for sale.
A Little History...
Just like most residents of Hardy County, our real estate agents anxiously awaited the unveiling of renovations to the Hardy County Library. At its Grand Re-Opening Celebration earlier this year, what attendees found was a beautiful Hardy County Library ready for the future with its new bright, spacious, airy, and clean new look.
The Hardy County Public Library has been at the heart of Moorefield, WV for decades, but by the turn of the millennium, this treasured institution had begun to show its age. The library celebrated its 75th birthday in 2014, and just three years later, the ground was broken on a new renovation project that would revamp and extend the current library to include the neighboring property – formerly Puffenberger Jewelry.
Every year around the close of summer, the people of Hardy County come together to celebrate Heritage Weekend, one of the biggest local events of the year. Hardy County Heritage Weekend is a celebration of everything that makes local communities such special places to call home. During Heritage Weekend, you'll have the opportunity to learn about local history, shop for products from local businesses and artisans, catch a classic movie, watch live shows, enjoy live music, and even participate in an "all schools" reunion for former students of local schools. Our real estate agents are excited to tell you all about the events at Hardy County Heritage Weekend this year.
