The festival is held on the grounds of the farm that once belonged to Cyrus McCormick, who revolutionized agriculture with his invention of the mechanical reaper. Support a great cause while viewing classic automobiles at the 41st SVBCC British Car Festival. With more than 200 vehicles on display, this event is one of the longest-running car shows on the East Coast. There will also be live music, door prizes, and food vendors, with a portion of all profits going to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. The festival runs from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 1.

The streets of downtown Waynesboro will be filled with visual delights at the SVAC Fall Foliage Art Show. Approximately 150 artists will be displaying their works in all media, including jewelry, pottery, and paintings. Kids can explore their own creativity with sidewalk chalk drawings and other activities in the craft area. Don't miss the ArtMobile, the collection on wheels from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Sample some fine culinary arts in the food truck area, which also features live music. The art show is scheduled for Saturday, October 8, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., and Sunday, October 9, from noon - 5 p.m.
