Shenandoah Valley Donation Center

What to Do When Your Home is Jam-Packed with Stuff

Comedian George Carlin had a classic routine about the "stuff" we all accumulate over time. If you're buying or selling a home and wondering what to do with all your "stuff," our real estate agents have the answer. Take your excess items to one of these handy donation centers around the Shenandoah Valley.

  1. Habitat for Humanity ReStore - 434 Richmond Rd., Staunton 24402
Habitat for Humanity ReStore benefits the worldwide affordable housing program founded in 1976 and notably championed by former U.S. President Jimmy Carter. These nonprofit shops sell a wide variety of donated home improvement items ranging from household furnishings to building materials. All profits are used to support Habitat's mission of helping poor and underprivileged people become self-sufficient homeowners. The ReStore is centrally located to Staunton homes for sale but they also schedule pickups of donated items.
